Jordan Brand is the iconic athletic and lifestyle label launched by Nike in collaboration with Michael Jordan. Born in 1984–85: Nike created the first Air Jordan 1 for Michael Jordan, designed by Peter Moore, and famously “banned” by the NBA for its bold Bulls-red color scheme. Jordan continued wearing them and Nike even paid his fines launching a cultural revolution in sneaker marketing.
